Job Title: RN Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $3,918 Weekly Gross

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support clinical education and training initiatives within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical nursing, providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical expertise to enhance nursing competencies and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff.

• Provide clinical instruction, mentorship, and support to new and existing nurses.

• Collaborate with leadership and department heads to identify training needs and performance improvement opportunities.

• Ensure adherence to current clinical standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.

• Assist in the orientation and onboarding of newly hired nursing staff.

• Evaluate staff competencies through direct observation and skills validation.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the nursing team.

• Maintain accurate records of staff education, certification, and compliance training.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) from an accredited nursing program.

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience required.

  • Strong clinical background and ability to educate and mentor nursing staff.

• Licensure: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.

• Certifications:

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
