Position Title: Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Shift: Night (12×3)
Duration: 13-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $65 to $74/hr
Weekly Pay: $2,340 to $2,664/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ithaca, NY.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care to maternal and child health patients, adhering to nursing standards and best practices.
Collect, document, and interpret patient data to inform care plans.
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients, including physical, emotional, and educational needs.
Provide patient and family education regarding maternal and newborn health.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Float to the postpartum unit as required.
Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with patient mobility and perform light lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AASN).
Current New York State RN license.
BLS required upon hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire.
Preferred experience in postpartum or maternal-child nursing.
Ability to use hands and fingers repetitively, sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, and perform light lifting related to patient care.
