Duration: Flexible | 13–26 Weeks (Holiday Coverage Available)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Call Requirement: One night of call per week and every 7th weekend
Pay Rate: $2,766 Weekly Gross
The Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will provide high-quality imaging and patient care within the interventional radiology department. The technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of radiologists and physicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision, adhering to clinical protocols and radiation safety standards.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout.
Operate and maintain imaging and interventional equipment.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and assist the care team during procedures.
Document procedures accurately and maintain proper patient records.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Float to other qualified imaging units as needed based on facility policy and workload.
ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
SCRQSA Certification (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association) – Required
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – Required
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a closely related imaging specialty preferred.
Strong technical, patient care, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to various clinical settings.
