Financial Application Support Engineer

Provide L2/L3 support for core banking, payments, lending, and treasury applications. Ensure SLA adherence, secure changes, and clean audit trails.

Key Responsibilities

Triage prod incidents (app, MQ, DB, network), perform blameless RCA, and deliver fixes.
Manage batch jobs, peak-window monitoring, and release cutovers; support DR tests.
Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and evidence for SOX/PCI controls.
Collaborate with vendors (core/treasury platforms) and internal engineering on defect resolution.
Track KPIs: incident aging, reopen rates, change success rate, business impact minutes.

Required Skills

SQL (performance tuning), MQ/Connectors, API troubleshooting, job schedulers (Control-M).
Experience with core/treasury platforms and regulated change processes.
Clear communication with Tech, Ops, and Audit.
