Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: New Port Richey, FL 34654
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule:
• Mon, Tue, Wed: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thu, Fri: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation (Local): $90 – $95 per hour
Weekly Travel Rate: Up to $3,683.50 per week

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) for an exciting job in New Port Richey, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including wellness exams, chronic care management, and urgent visits
• Conduct patient assessments, physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage follow-up care
• See walk-in patients and handle a diverse range of medical needs
• Document encounters using Athena EMR (experience required)
• Perform DOT physicals and treat Workers’ Compensation injuries (DOT certification required)
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active FNP or PA license
• Recent hands-on family medicine experience
• Comfortable treating patients ages 2+
• DOT certification required
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation cases
• Proficient with Athena EMR
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
