Data Scientist / Senior Data Analyst  

The Data Scientist will deliver predictive insights and risk intelligence by combining structured legacy banking data with modern analytics platforms. This role plays a key part in modernization programs that impact lending, fraud detection, credit risk, liquidity forecasting, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets from Hogan, Voyager, loan servicing systems, and Treasury data to identify risk, liquidity, and performance patterns.
• Build ML models for fraud detection, customer segmentation, and transaction forecasting.
• Develop ETL and data pipelines connecting on-prem systems to modern cloud environments (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Implement data quality and governance frameworks aligned with OCC/FRB reporting requirements.
• Create executive-level dashboards and decision support tools in Tableau or Power BI.
• Collaborate with data engineering and regulatory reporting teams to ensure traceability and compliance.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years in data science or financial analytics.
• Python, R, SQL, Spark, and visualization tools.
• Experience with core banking and financial transaction data.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and FFIEC reporting standards.
• Strong communication of technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
