Duration: 9 Weeks (Contract)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy Occupational Health and Family Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing comprehensive patient care for individuals ages 2 and above while managing both walk-in and scheduled appointments. This position requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

• Conduct Occupational Medicine and Workers’ Compensation evaluations.

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT physicals (if certified).

• Manage Pre-Employment, Police/Firefighter physicals, and Wellness Programs.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and manage ongoing care plans.

• Utilize Athena EMR for documentation, charting, and patient record maintenance.

• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure efficient patient flow.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DOT Certification.

• Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation experience.

• Ability to independently manage family practice and urgent care patients.

• Proficiency with Athena EMR.

• Valid prescriptive authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Dispensing License (preferred, not required).

• Recent Family Medicine experience, including chronic care, wellness exams, and urgent visits.

• Prior experience in Occupational Medicine or an Independent Family Practice setting.

Patient Demographics:

• Ages: 2 years and older
