Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Location: Mayfield Heights, OH 44124

Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)

Shift: 5x8 Hours | Monday–Friday | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay Rate: $2,833 Weekly Gross

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team for a travel assignment in Ohio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Siemens MRI systems and demonstrate a high level of technical accuracy, professionalism, and patient care. This role involves working in a collaborative clinical environment while ensuring quality imaging results and maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout the MRI process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Operate Siemens MRI systems (Aera/Skyra/Sola) efficiently and accurately.

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

  • Review and verify physician orders, patient history, and clinical indications.

  • Maintain MRI equipment, including performing quality control checks and reporting maintenance issues.

  • Ensure proper patient positioning and use of contrast materials when necessary.

  • Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and maintain magnetic field safety.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and workflow efficiency.

  • Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and facility safety standards.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.

  • Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems (Aera, Skyra, Sola).

  • Current ARRT (MR) certification.

  • Active BLS certification (AHA).

  • Valid Ohio State License (or willingness to obtain prior to start).

Preferred:

  • Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.

Work Environment:

  • Hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.

  • Overnight schedule requiring independent operation and critical thinking.

  • Exposure to magnetic fields, requiring adherence to strict MRI safety standards.
