Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay: $2,840 Weekly Gross | $71 per Hour
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Perform diagnostic imaging exams such as X-rays, MRIs, and other radiographic procedures.
Prepare, position, and explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established safety standards.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.
Review and assess images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine if additional imaging is necessary.
Adhere to all facility, state, and federal regulations regarding imaging and patient care.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Required Education & Certification:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent).
Experience:
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
Proficiency in operating modern radiographic equipment and digital imaging systems.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards.
Clinical and hospital settings requiring use of PPE and adherence to infection control protocols.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers when necessary.
Exposure to radiation and infectious materials (with appropriate protection provided).
