Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Bronx, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Pay: $2,840 Weekly Gross | $71 per Hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams such as X-rays, MRIs, and other radiographic procedures.

  • Prepare, position, and explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established safety standards.

  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.

  • Review and assess images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records and imaging documentation.

  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine if additional imaging is necessary.

  • Adhere to all facility, state, and federal regulations regarding imaging and patient care.

  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

Required Education & Certification:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License.

  • BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.

  • Proficiency in operating modern radiographic equipment and digital imaging systems.

  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards.

Work Environment:

  • Clinical and hospital settings requiring use of PPE and adherence to infection control protocols.

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers when necessary.

  • Exposure to radiation and infectious materials (with appropriate protection provided).
