Location: Burleson, TX 76028
Duration: 1-Year Contract

Compensation: $50 per hour (W2)


About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join a patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the dentist and clinical team to deliver exceptional oral healthcare and education. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to quality patient care, and proficiency with clinical dental hygiene procedures and technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform professional dental hygiene services, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.

  • Operate GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) equipment as needed.

  • Apply fluoride, sealants, and other preventive treatments according to clinical protocols.

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.

  • Record and update patient medical and dental histories accurately.

  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.

  • Assist in managing clinical inventory and supplies.

  • Collaborate with the dentist and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.


Work Environment

  • Professional, clean, and well-equipped dental setting.

  • Regular use of dental instruments, computers, and x-ray equipment.

  • Adherence to infection control and safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) use.


Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual work using dental instruments.

  • Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs as needed.

  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials (OSHA training required).


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist.

  • Proficiency with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) equipment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clinical standards.


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.


Certifications & Licensure

  • Active Dental Hygienist License (Texas or eligible for reciprocity).

  • Current CPR certification.
