Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Tele
Location: Akron, OH 44307
Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable based on performance and need)
Type: Travel or Local Contract [LOCALS ALSO ACCEPTED]
We are seeking a professional and experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry RN to join a top-rated hospital in Akron, Ohio. The nurse will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and monitor telemetry data.
Manage patient care plans, ensuring timely interventions and accurate documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
Support evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience (required).
Licensure: Active Ohio RN License or Compact License (must be in hand).
Certifications:
BLS – AHA
ACLS – AHA
NIHSS
