Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 5x8-Hour Schedule | 40 Hours/Week
Shift Hours: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Saturday & Sunday)
Pay Rate: $3,124 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity medical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency, clinical judgment, and knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging principles to produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure patient safety.
Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam.
Apply strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging techniques to ensure accurate results.
Review and evaluate images for quality and consistency before submission to radiologists.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the facility’s EMR system.
Follow all safety protocols regarding magnetic fields, contrast media, and radiation exposure.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (required)
Proficiency operating GE MRI scanners (required)
Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved Radiologic Technology program
Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology
ARRT MRI Registry Certification (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging principles
Excellent technical and communication skills
