Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12s | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed | No on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Travel Rate: Up to $2,473.50 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry for an exciting job in Bricktown, NJ.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.
Monitor patient conditions and telemetry data, promptly reporting abnormalities to the healthcare team.
Administer medications, including non-titratable cardiac drips, and perform therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based nursing practices.
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience in an acute hospital environment.
At least 4 years total Med/Surg experience required.
Strong proficiency in:
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Administration of non-titratable cardiac drips and medications
Managing a 5–6:1 patient ratio in high-acuity units
Ability to float to similar units as needed.
Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
Telemetry Certification – Required
