Location: Edison, NJ 08818
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | Every other weekend | Holidays required | No on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Travel Rate: $2,380/week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float for an exciting job in Edison, NJ.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in compliance with hospital standards and nursing best practices.
Support interdisciplinary care coordination and patient/family education.
Float as required to Telemetry and Step-Down units (4W or 5N), with a maximum of four Telemetry patients.
Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU/CCU experience, including Neuro ICU.
At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing within an acute care or trauma hospital (Level 1 or Level 2 preferred).
Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and critical thinking skills.
Ability and willingness to float between ICU, Telemetry, and Step-Down units as assigned.
Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
4-Hour CEU in Stroke Education
