Job Type: Contract | Travel
Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays

Pay Rate: 2,722 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking  Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assess patients’ physical abilities through evaluation and observation of their functional movement, strength, range of motion, and pain levels. 

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and conditions, with an emphasis on restoring movement and function. 

• Administer therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.). 

• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, injury prevention, and self-care techniques. 

• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. 

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. 

• Ensure safe and proper use of rehabilitation equipment. 

• Adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control standards. 

• Travel to various facilities and quickly adapt to their protocols and workflows. 

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. 

• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain licensure). 

• CPR/BLS certification (ACLS or other certifications may be required depending on assignment). 

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in physical therapy, with a focus on rehabilitation. 

• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. 

• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of physical impairments. 

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 

• Willingness to travel and adapt to new settings and facilities.

• Travel assignments typically last 8–13 weeks with the possibility of extension.
