Job Title: Resident Services Specialist
Location: Alexandria, VA 22060
Contract Duration: 1–3 Months
Pay Rate: $15–$16/hr
Schedule:
Full-Time: Various shifts (8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM)
Part-Time: 14–24 hours/week and/or on-call
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Resident Services Specialist for an exciting job in Alexandria, VA.
Assist residents with daily needs and address immediate concerns.
Monitor and ensure compliance with shelter rules and policies.
Support distribution of resources and services.
De-escalate conflicts and provide crisis intervention as needed.
Connect residents with community resources and programs to support stability and personal growth.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports for each shift.
Experience working with adults experiencing homelessness, behavioral health disorders, or substance dependency.
Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records in Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS).
2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field
