Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Contract
Shift: Rotating Evenings/Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend & holiday
Travel Rate: $2,423.50/week

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed, providing leadership and support to staff.
• Utilize computerized nursing information systems effectively.
• Support orientation, training, and education of ancillary staff.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of ER travel nurse experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain).
• Successful completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams.
• Proficient in IV therapy, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring.
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ENPC, PALS, and de-escalation training.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
