Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Interventional
Location: Syracuse, NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 40 hours per week
Shift Time: Specific days and hours to be determined. Must be available to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
Pay Rate: $60hrs - $65hrs

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist – Interventional for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and interventional imaging procedures as directed by radiologists.
• Greet and prepare patients for examinations, explaining the procedures and ensuring comfort and understanding.
• Position patients accurately and set appropriate exposure factors to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
• Practice strict radiation safety and protection standards to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Process images and ensure accurate data entry into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing.
• Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate, timely completion of diagnostic studies.

Qualifications

• Education: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Licensure/Registration: Must hold or be eligible for a New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration.
• Certification: ARRT certification required (must be obtained within one year of appointment).
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive technical experience.
• Additional Requirements: Current CPR certification and registration certification for contrast injection.
