Position Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235
Type: Contract | 40 hrs/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $28 – $30/hour
Schedule: Flexible shifts (mornings, mid-days, or nights) with weekend availability required.
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management under direct supervision. Must ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local pharmacy regulations. Role involves rotation across various shifts and departments.
Prepare and distribute medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.
Rotate shifts and assignments to meet department needs.
Deliver and return medication carts and supplies.
Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems.
Maintain inventory and follow all regulatory standards.
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Pharmacy Technician or related role.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
License: Active Registered Pharmacy Technician license from NYSED with primary source verification.
Preferred: Experience in pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, or IV room settings.
