Job Title: Financial Product Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ – On-site
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Position Overview:
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Financial Product Manager for an exciting job in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Tax Assessor, Treasurer’s office, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collect and analyze functional and technical requirements for tax billing, payment processing, audit trails, financial reporting, and integration with other systems.
Project Management & Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
User Training & Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop materials and conduct sessions; act as a primary point of contact for user feedback and issue resolution.
Data Integrity & Security: Work with IT and security teams to protect sensitive financial data and ensure system reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years as a Product Manager or Business Analyst, preferably with government finance, tax systems, or accounting software.
Strong understanding of tax collection processes, government accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum preferred).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into user-friendly solutions.
Familiarity with government finance systems (e.g., Tyler Technologies, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in local government or public sector environments.
Knowledge of data privacy laws and cybersecurity best practices for government systems.
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Certified Scrum Product Owner).
