Position Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Weekly (possible evening and weekend on-call)

Local Pay: Up to $2,440/week
Traveler Pay: Up to $3,000/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures.

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging studies.

  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, preparation, and instructions.

  • Review patient safety and screening questionnaires.

  • Ensure images are properly labeled and transmitted to PACS (Synapse).

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of nuclear medicine equipment, including Siemens EVOSPECT and Philips Forte cameras, and NMIS hot lab systems.

  • Complete patient documentation and maintain records in EPIC.

  • Assist physicians as required.

  • Participate in training and mentoring of other employees.

  • Follow strict safety, infection control, and radiation protocols.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong technical knowledge in nuclear medicine procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.

  • Experience with Siemens EVOSPECT and Philips Forte cameras.

  • Familiarity with EPIC and Synapse PACS systems.

  • CPR certification.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Education:

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • NYS License/Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

  • ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine (or board eligible)

  • CPR Certification
