Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Elmhurst, NY
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 7.5*5
Pay rate: $3,172 (Weekly Gross)
Education:
• Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist, including military training if applicable.
Responsibilities:
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required.
• Experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
• Monitor patient safety during procedures, including radiation safety protocols.
• Follow all state and federal regulations for nuclear medicine practice.
• Must work rotating weekends and report as scheduled, including holidays.
Certifications:
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid NYSDOH license as a Radiology Technologist with Injection
• Valid NYSDOH license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
