Job Title: Surgical Tech (CVOR)
Location: Plano, TX 75093
Schedule: DAYS - 8HR: M-F 0630-1500 with call
Job Duration: 3+ Months with possible extension 
 
Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment before procedures.
• Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgery, following strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other team members during high-risk cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Handle and care for surgical instruments and equipment, including setup and troubleshooting specialized cardiovascular tools.
• Support pre-op and post-op procedures, including specimen collection, patient transport, and documentation of surgical counts and supplies used.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years of CVOR experience required
• Trauma level II 
• BLS - AHA Required 
• Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) - Required
