Shift: Nights (5x7.5-hour shifts)
Duration: 8-Week Assignment
Hourly Pay: $50 to $60/hour
Weekly Pay: $1,875 to $2,250/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist – General for an exciting Travel or Local job in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of general and specialized ultrasound procedures across various patient demographics (adult, pediatric, ER, neonatal)

  • Conduct portable exams and work in diverse clinical settings

  • Collaborate with radiology providers to accurately interpret and document imaging

  • Follow all infection control protocols, including isolation precautions

  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure readiness for procedures

  • Communicate effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams

  • Take a 1-hour unpaid lunch during each shift

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification (Required)

  • RVT certification (Preferred)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of ultrasound experience (5 years preferred)

  • Experience in teaching and/or community hospital settings preferred

  • Strong knowledge of hospital infection control practices and isolation protocols

  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (no exemptions permitted)
