Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care

Travel Pay Range: $3,175 – $3,400 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care for an exciting job in Bronx, NY.
Conduct health assessments focusing on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
Perform focused physical assessments and create individualized care plans.
Recommend and administer appropriate medications and treatments.
Develop, revise, and evaluate standards of care, including selection of supplies and equipment.
Assess and document patient responses to wound and ostomy treatments.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered by unit staff.
Collaborate with healthcare team members and refer to other disciplines as needed.
Educate and counsel patients and families on wound prevention and management.
Provide and evaluate staff education programs, including orientation and ongoing training.
Conduct risk assessments for pressure injuries and implement preventive measures.
Escalate clinical or ethical issues as necessary.
Participate in unit, departmental, and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
Deliver culturally competent education to patients, families, and staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
Pursue ongoing professional development to sustain clinical expertise.
Assist patients in accessing community resources.
Manage specialty equipment such as pressure-relief beds and negative pressure wound devices.
Required:
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Licensure: Current New York State RN license (in good standing)
Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
At least one of the following: CWOCN, CWON, CWCN, CWS, WCC
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience, including wound and colostomy care
Preferred:
Experience in specialized wound care or acute care settings
Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
