Decision Support GIS Technician

Location - Tacoma, WA

The Decision Support GIS Technician supports the collection, maintenance, and quality assurance of spatial datasets, enabling accurate and reliable geospatial decision support.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and maintain GIS spatial data.
Assist analysts and developers with data preparation for dashboards and analytics.
Perform spatial data validation and ensure adherence to standards.
Support integration of GIS data with Tableau, HANA, and other analytics tools.
Document metadata and maintain version control.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and related GIS tools.
Knowledge of spatial data editing, quality control, and validation.
Familiarity with data integration into analytics platforms.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
