Job Title: Pharmacist – Oncology
Location: Ithaca, NY
Shift: Day Shift (5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Pharmacist – Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ithaca, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee investigational drug services for oncology clinical trials.

  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, FDA regulations, and sponsor requirements related to investigational drug management.

  • Support infusion pharmacy operations, including preparation, dispensing, and verification of chemotherapy and supportive care medications.

  • Maintain accurate investigational drug inventory, documentation, and accountability records.

  • Provide clinical and operational guidance to pharmacy staff and research teams.

  • Participate in audits, monitoring visits, and inspections to ensure readiness and adherence to standards.

  • Educate pharmacy and clinical staff on investigational drug protocols, safety procedures, and updates.

  • Communicate effectively with investigators, study coordinators, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate study support.

  • Contribute to process improvements and quality assurance initiatives within the pharmacy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program.

  • Licensure: Active Pharmacist license in the State of New York (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy experience, with at least one (1) year in oncology or investigational drug services preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of investigational drug management and oncology pharmacy practices.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records.

  • Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
