Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac ICU

Monday to Friday (No weekends)
3 days per week
11.5-hour shifts (Total 37.5 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at a leading healthcare facility in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, excellent clinical judgment, and proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients.
Monitor and assess patient status, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols.
Provide conscious sedation for procedures as appropriate.
Perform IV insertions, blood draws, and manage central lines.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document all care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience (preferably in a cardiac or intensive care setting).
Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
IV/Phlebotomy experience required.
