Shift: Monday | 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $2,242
Hourly Rate: $62.28
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our clinical team in New Jersey. The RRT will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. The role involves working closely with physicians and nursing staff to deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based respiratory therapy in a hospital environment.
Deliver all aspects of respiratory therapy under medical direction, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing patient management.
Provide ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care for patients with respiratory deficiencies.
Assist with endotracheal intubations and monitor patient responses to therapy.
Evaluate patients’ cardiopulmonary status and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and adjust care plans.
Administer prescribed respiratory care treatments and procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies, equipment usage, and disease management.
Accurately document all treatments, assessments, and patient progress in medical records.
Maintain and ensure proper operation of respiratory therapy equipment.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
Current New Jersey State License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care or hospital-based respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Proficient in the use of respiratory equipment, ventilators, and electronic documentation systems.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 5 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Regular interaction with patients, medical personnel, and visitors.
