Shift: Monday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $2,467
Hourly Rate: $68.53

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU Step-Down Unit at a leading healthcare facility in New Jersey. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and complex interventions in a progressive care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, monitor, and assess patients in the ICU Step-Down unit.

  • Plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on patient needs and conditions.

  • Identify and prioritize patient care needs through continuous assessment and evaluation.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.

  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and administer medications as prescribed.

  • Manage the care of critically ill and post-surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.

  • Provide patient-centered care in accordance with professional nursing practice standards.

  • Advocate for and implement evidence-based care practices to promote optimal outcomes.

  • Float to other units within competency as required by facility needs.

Unit Focus:

  • Cardiac, Vascular, and Post-Surgical Step-Down Unit

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Jersey (or Compact State License).

  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent ICU or Step-Down experience required.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (Critical Care certification preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac and post-surgical patient care.

  • Excellent clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment.

Work Environment:

  • Progressive care/step-down hospital unit.

  • 12-hour night shifts in a collaborative, patient-centered nursing team setting.
