Job Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking CT Technologist for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State License (L.R.T.) in Radiologic Technology.

  • ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.

  • BLS certification (current).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on all CT equipment.

  • Administer contrast or radioactive materials as prescribed by physicians, following proper safety protocols.

  • Complete all required documentation, logs, and reports to comply with departmental and regulatory standards.

  • Follow radiation safety procedures in accordance with ALARA principles.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and prepare images for radiologist interpretation.

  • Order and verify radiopharmaceutical doses as required.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
