Job Title: Medical Assistant

Duration: 8 Weeks

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601

Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting both front and back-office operations, including greeting and rooming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support as needed. Maintaining a collaborative and professional relationship with the healthcare team is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (in addition to an externship)
• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with patients
• Proficient computer and documentation skills
• Interest in working in a setting that emphasizes health education, prevention, and outreach

Required Skills:

• BLS or CPR certification
