Pay Rate: $2,578 per week (Gross)
The MRI Technologist provides specialized imaging services within the radiology department. This role involves operating MRI equipment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and experience in MRI imaging protocols.
Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Position patients appropriately and ensure their comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems.
Follow proper imaging protocols and safety procedures, including contrast administration when needed.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide quality imaging services.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of MRI equipment.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
Strong knowledge of MRI imaging protocols and safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Active ARRT-MRI certification required.
Current BLS certification (AHA) required.
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
