Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

  • Administer and monitor patient medications and respond to patient conditions.

  • Direct and supervise patient care activities and ancillary staff.

  • Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and records.

  • Communicate patient care plans effectively to healthcare team members.

  • Serve as charge nurse and resource person for staff orientation and teaching.

  • Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems proficiently.

  • Participate in quality assurance, patient safety, and policy adherence.

  • Maintain ongoing professional development and clinical skills.

  • Represent the hospital professionally while maintaining patient and hospital confidentiality.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

  • Passed CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams.

  • Prior critical care experience mandatory.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.

  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification.

  • Completion of approved De-escalation Certification Course.

  • Skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring.
