Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal ICU
Location: Denton, TX
Duration: 3+ Month Contract (Extendable)
Shift: Nights – 12 Hours (Includes weekends and holidays as assigned)
Pay Rate: Travel – $60/hour (for 36 hours per week)
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal ICU provides specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns. This role involves monitoring patients’ vital signs, administering medications, assisting physicians during procedures, and providing support to families during their infants’ care and recovery. The ideal candidate is experienced, compassionate, and skilled in high-acuity neonatal nursing.
Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in the ICU.
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist physicians with procedures and patient assessments.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and families.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for newborns.
Adhere to all hospital and unit policies, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
