Job Title: SQL Database Architect / Administrator (DBA)
Location: Remote (Candidate must be a current SC resident) – Onsite travel as needed (~25% annually)
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary:
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking SQL Database Architect / Administrator (DBA) for an exciting Remote job.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on SQL development and application support following best practices.
Advise development teams on data model changes and extensions.
Collaborate with cross-functional DBA teams to manage test, staging, and production databases.
Develop and execute data migration plans.
Analyze performance metrics, implement optimizations, and maintain high availability.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.
Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and state agencies.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years SQL DBA experience; 5+ years with SQL Server.
5+ years experience with High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR).
3+ years experience with T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
Strong performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security experience.
Proven experience supporting enterprise applications in Windows/Linux environments.
Project planning, resource allocation, and technical leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge.
Healthcare/PHI/PII data experience.
Data encryption and security expertise.
Vendor management experience.
Public sector or Medicaid operations familiarity.
Certifications:
Not required; SQL training/certification beneficial.
