Title: Systems Software Programmer – Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform)
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Columbia, SC – Hybrid (20% on-site, 80% remote) – Must be able to commute to Columbia, SC 1–2 times per week
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Excluding state holidays)

Project Overview:

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Systems Software Programmer – Consultant (SharePoint & Power Platform) for an exciting job in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance and enhancements of the agency's intranet, including analysis, requirements gathering, UI/UX design, and development.

  • Perform site provisioning, custom web parts, workflows, and branding.

  • Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, etc.) to enhance collaboration.

  • Design and implement PowerApps and Power Automate flows to automate business processes.

  • Ensure solutions are accessible and user-friendly on desktop and mobile devices.

  • Develop technical and user documentation for support teams and end-users.

  • Collaborate with system administrators to implement security controls and best practices.

  • Conduct meetings and technical workshops, providing knowledge transfer on SharePoint and Power Platform modernization and governance.

  • Support DevOps-based environment management (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) with controlled releases.

  • Provide weekly status reports to management.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of SharePoint development experience.

  • Deep expertise in SharePoint Online and Office 365 functionality and features.

  • Experience designing and developing intranets, including custom layouts, features, and functionalities.

  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint customization, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Suite (Power Automate, Power BI) and related add-ons.

  • Strong programming skills: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowerShell.

  • Solid understanding of information architecture principles.

  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for SharePoint Online.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions.

  • Experience implementing personalized user experiences within intranet environments.

  • Strong UI/UX design skills and proactive, self-motivated work style.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • Preferred (not required) certifications:

    • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Online

    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot integrations.

  • M365 adoption strategy and roadmap development.

  • Knowledge of gamification principles to enhance user engagement and collaboration.
