Overview:
Navitas Healthcare is searching for a dynamic Vice President of Nursing Services with proven Chief Nursing Officer experience. This role provides visionary leadership for all nursing functions across a complex healthcare environment. The VP ensures alignment of nursing operations with organizational strategy while driving patient safety, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning for nursing services across hospital operations.
• Establish and monitor nursing standards, policies, and professional practices.
• Partner with executive teams and physicians to strengthen care delivery.
• Oversee workforce planning, retention, and leadership development initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation and state/federal requirements.
• Manage financial planning, nursing budgets, and resource allocation.
• Champion quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and innovation in care.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Active RN license in NY.
• Previous CNO experience mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years in progressive healthcare leadership, preferably within large acute care hospitals.

Skilled in unionized settings and organizational transformation.
