Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Brick, NJ 08724
Hours: 36 hours/week, 12 hours/day, 3 days/week
Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12 shifts, every other weekend; holidays required; no on-call.
Must have at least one full year of ED experience.
The ED Registered Nurse provides care to patients in urgent and emergency situations. ED RNs are trained to handle a variety of trauma and medical conditions for patients of all ages, quickly assessing, prioritizing, and implementing appropriate care plans.
Provide specialized and innovative emergency nursing services.
Assess and triage patients with physical and mental health conditions.
Handle trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
Formulate and implement effective nursing care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services in a fast-paced ED environment.
ED experience within the past six months.
Demonstrated clinical performance and practice.
Strong analytical and clinical knowledge for effective care planning.
Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff.
At least one full year of ED experience, preferably a returning traveler.
NJ State Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license.
BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, Telemetry, NIHSS.
CEU Contact Stroke – 4 hours.
