Job Title: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235
Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate:

  • Travel: $5,000 – $5,513 weekly

  • Local: $4,200 – $4,687.50 weekly

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Chief Nursing Officer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily nursing operations and implement strategic plans to optimize patient satisfaction, staff engagement, quality care, and financial performance.

  • Develop and evaluate clinical and operational performance improvement programs aligned with organizational goals.

  • Promote evidence-based nursing practices and foster a collaborative culture for consistent, effective care delivery.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and medical staff to develop policies, strategies, and operational standards.

  • Oversee nursing recruitment, training, credentialing, professional development, and retention initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with unions and staff to ensure effective communication.

  • Ensure coordinated patient care and optimal resource utilization while maintaining compliance with regulations and ethical standards.

  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and expense control for nursing operations.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State RN license.

  • Master’s degree in Nursing Administration or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of nursing experience, including at least 6 years in nursing administration or management.

  • Demonstrated leadership in quality improvement and staff engagement.

  • Knowledge of nursing standards, regulations, and hospital operations.

Key Goals:

  • Maintain appropriate nursing staffing ratios.

  • Improve patient satisfaction scores (HCAPS) within three years.

  • Achieve Magnet designation and a Leapfrog “A” grade within five years.
