Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Licensed Practical Nurse for an exciting Travel job in Falmouth, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct daily functions of nursing assistants in alignment with facility guidelines.

  • Assist in shift planning and coordination of nursing services and activities.

  • Complete and maintain resident documentation for admissions, transfers, discharges, treatments, and care plans.

  • Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders; administer medications and treatments per protocol.

  • Monitor and document resident responses to care, reporting changes to physicians and supervisors.

  • Participate in rounds with physicians and care consultations.

  • Perform skilled nursing services (IV/IM meds, catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, colostomy care, specimen collection, etc.).

  • Conduct vital signs monitoring and routine assessments.

  • Ensure adequate medication, supply, and equipment inventory.

  • Provide health education to residents and families; assist with new resident/family orientation.

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information in compliance with HIPAA and residents’ rights.

  • Support quality assurance efforts, including surveys, inspections, and performance improvement activities.

  • Deliver compassionate care aligned with professional nursing values.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program; current, active Massachusetts LPN license required.

  • Current BLS / CPR and AED certification.

  • Strong knowledge of nursing/medical practices, long-term care standards, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven leadership and supervisory abilities with a collaborative approach.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and meet physical/sensory demands of the position.
