Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice
Location: Hyannis, MA
Schedule: 40 hours/week, day and evening shifts with occasional weekends and float coverage
Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Rate: $2,648.50/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Hospice for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and assist in individualized care planning.

  • Perform ongoing assessments of patients and respond proactively to changes in condition.

  • Deliver compassionate nursing care focused on pain relief, symptom control, and emotional support.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

  • Accurately document patient care, admissions, and progress notes per regulatory guidelines.

  • Notify physicians and care team members of significant changes in patient conditions.

  • Supervise hospice aides and support orientation of new staff as a clinical mentor.

  • Follow established hospice philosophy, protocols, and applicable nursing regulations.

  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding hospice practices and end-of-life care.

  • Ensure care delivery aligns with physician orders and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in hospice nursing.

  • Completion of pre-hire medication administration testing.

  • Preferred qualifications:

    • Hospice home care experience

    • IV therapy certification

    • Strong computer proficiency

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
