Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice
Location: Hyannis, MA
Schedule: 40 hours/week, day and evening shifts with occasional weekends and float coverage
Duration: 13 Weeks
Travel Rate: $2,648.50/Week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Hospice for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.
Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and assist in individualized care planning.
Perform ongoing assessments of patients and respond proactively to changes in condition.
Deliver compassionate nursing care focused on pain relief, symptom control, and emotional support.
Maintain clear and timely communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Accurately document patient care, admissions, and progress notes per regulatory guidelines.
Notify physicians and care team members of significant changes in patient conditions.
Supervise hospice aides and support orientation of new staff as a clinical mentor.
Follow established hospice philosophy, protocols, and applicable nursing regulations.
Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding hospice practices and end-of-life care.
Ensure care delivery aligns with physician orders and compliance requirements.
Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
Minimum of two years’ experience in hospice nursing.
Completion of pre-hire medication administration testing.
Preferred qualifications:
Hospice home care experience
IV therapy certification
Strong computer proficiency
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
