Job Opportunity: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Nursing Home Care 

Location: Cooperstown, NY 

Duration: 13-Week Contract 

Position Overview 
A compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed for a 13-week contract at a nursing home in Cooperstown, NY. This role focuses on providing direct care, supporting residents’ daily needs, and contributing to a resident-centered care model. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver nursing care, administer treatments, and record vital signs 

• Assist residents with personal care and promote independence where possible 

• Document resident progress and report clinical updates to supervising staff 

• Participate in creating and executing care plans 

• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents and their families 

• Promote emotional well-being through attentive and empathetic care 

• Ensure adherence to nursing standards, LTC regulations, and safety policies 

• Supervise CNAs and offer guidance in daily resident care 

Requirements 

• Current LPN license in New York 

• Completion of an accredited LPN program 

• BLS certification required 

• Experience in long-term or geriatric care is a plus 
• Effective clinical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
