Job Summary

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. The hygienist will work collaboratively with the dentist to meet patients’ oral health needs while providing an exceptional level of care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. This role involves a variety of clinical duties, patient education, and strong customer service to ensure the highest quality dental experience.

Essential Functions

  • Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment (if required).

  • Provide oral hygiene treatment and education in compliance with state guidelines.

  • Apply fluoride and protective sealants.

  • Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.

  • Deliver nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.

  • Record and review patient medical histories.

  • Maintain HIPAA & OSHA compliance.

  • Manage and order dental inventory as needed.

  • Contribute to team success and perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Clinical/medical setting with standard dental equipment (computers, x-rays, phones).

  • Well-lighted, sterile environment with required use of PPE (gloves, masks, protective eyewear, clothing).

  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and clinical risks (OSHA training required).

Physical Demands

  • Frequent talking, listening, standing, sitting, and walking.

  • Regular use of hands and arms for dental procedures.

  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.

  • Exposure to clinical risks requiring safety protocols.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist.

  • Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.

Certifications & Licensure

  • Current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.

  • CPR certification.

  • X-ray certification/training.
