Job Title: Patient Services Representative
Location: Green Bay, WI 54311
Duration: 3+ Months (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: $18/hr. on W2
We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, eager to learn, and motivated to begin or grow their career in the dental/medical field.
The Patient Services Representative will play a key role in supporting staff and patients by managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting with treatment plan coordination. Professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging, greeting, and assisting patients upon arrival and dismissal.
Answer patient questions and address concerns in line with policies.
Manage incoming calls, schedule, confirm, and update appointments.
Maintain and organize the appointment book.
Follow up on missed or canceled appointments.
Register patients upon arrival and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
Check and respond to voicemail daily.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional waiting area.
Previous experience answering telephones.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office preferred.
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
High school diploma or GED required.
