Position Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Business Analyst for an exciting job in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

  • Analyze current operations, identify strengths/weaknesses, and recommend automation opportunities.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into functional specifications.

  • Assist with business process redesign and documentation for new or enhanced technology solutions.

  • Document and analyze business processes, data requirements, and system interactions.

  • Support requirements management processes including change control, version control, traceability, and status reporting.

  • Provide requirements interpretation and guidance to technical and testing teams.

  • Identify risks, issues, and action items, and propose solutions.

  • Research and document business rules, requirements, and models, and maintain them in repositories.

  • Collaborate with vendors, government agencies, providers, and other stakeholders as required.

  • Contribute to buy-versus-build evaluations and make recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of business analysis experience with IBM Cúram software.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience on government IT projects in a business analyst or related role.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules and processes.

  • At least 2 years of Medicaid Eligibility or healthcare insurance experience.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write clear requirements and Use Cases.

  • Proven ability to conduct interviews and extract requirements from business staff, as well as analyze laws, regulations, and policy documents.

  • Knowledge of formal business process documentation and business modeling techniques (including graphical process flow tools).

  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, project managers, technical staff, and business teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field.
