Location: Falmouth, MA
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Days (3x12)
Shift Time: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 12 Weeks
Pay Rate: $2,088 – $2,160 per week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Perform phlebotomy and manage IV therapy
• Administer medications, including cardiac meds and epidural analgesia
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond to changes appropriately
• Care for patients with chest tubes, orthopedic conditions, post-op needs, and pain management
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families effectively
• Recognize and report suspected abuse or neglect
• Participate in end-of-life care
• Comply with hospital policies and applicable regulations
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent care (adolescents to geriatric patients)
• Collaborate with the care team for optimal patient outcomes
• Respond effectively in emergency situations
• Follow ethical guidelines and honor patient advance directives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Phlebotomy and IV therapy proficiency
• BLS certification (must be current)
• Completion of IV Medication Module (Med/Surg)
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course/Exam
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with EMR systems
• Additional certifications related to telemetry or critical care
