Position Title: Pharmacist
Location: Hyannis, MA
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Days (5x8)
Shift Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays; primarily 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $3,000 – $3,200

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Pharmacist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and verify medications for inpatient and outpatient use
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and professional standards
• Monitor drug therapies for interactions, allergies, and contraindications
• Provide drug-related education to patients and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication inventory control
• Participate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
• Collaborate with providers to optimize medication outcomes
• Work rotating weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current and valid pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Prior hospital or clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication management
• Proficiency in EHR and pharmacy software systems
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and time management skills
