Position Title: Pharmacist
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Schedule: Rotating weekends and holidays; primarily 3 PM – 11 PM and 9 AM – 5 PM, with occasional 4 PM – 12 AM or 8 AM – 4 PM shifts
Pay Rate:

• Local: $2,812.50/week
• Travel: $3,061/week

Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Pharmacist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications in alignment with regulatory and hospital standards.
• Stay current on pharmaceutical product developments and best practices.
• Assign and oversee tasks for pharmacy support personnel.
• Review medication orders for completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness.
• Compound pharmaceuticals, including intravenous admixtures and TPN.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and record maintenance of medications.
• Provide drug information and guidance to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Manage the issuance and control of medications for patient care units.
• Support medication order-entry and provide clinical information during evening and night shifts.
• Uphold hospital policies while delivering exceptional service to patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Massachusetts.
• Proficiency in operating pharmacy systems and equipment.
