Position Title: Pharmacist
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 5x8s (primarily 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Range: $75 – $80 per hour ($3,000 – $3,200 weekly)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Pharmacist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and oversee medications in line with regulatory and hospital guidelines.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and clinical appropriateness.
• Compound pharmaceuticals including IV admixtures, TPN, and specialized preparations.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and documentation of all medications.
• Provide accurate drug information and guidance to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Manage and control medication distribution to patient care units and other authorized areas.
• Supervise, mentor, and assign duties to pharmacy support staff.
• Deliver clinical information, order-entry support, and after-hours coverage as required.
• Maintain knowledge of new pharmaceutical products and industry advancements.
• Uphold service excellence standards for patients, families, and staff.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program.
• Current and active Pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency with pharmacy systems, equipment, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
